This course is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to safely transport food items. This course covers topics such as food safety regulations, food packaging and labeling, temperature control, and transportation hazards. Participants will learn about the dangers and hazards associated with food transportation and how to develop and implement effective food safety procedures to minimize risk and protect consumers. The course is intended for workers in the food industry, transportation and logistics professionals, and anyone responsible for the safe transport of food items.  Instructional contact-time must be a minimum of 8 hours.

This course will offer participants a detailed understanding in various segments, which are not limited to:

  4. Transportation Equipment and Vehicles: Understanding the principles of transportation equipment and vehicles for food safety, familiarizing with the equipment and vehicles for different types of food products, implementing appropriate equipment and vehicles for different situations.

Sanitation and Cleanliness: Understanding the principles of sanitation and cleanliness during food transportation, familiarizing with the sanitation and cleanliness requirements for different types of food products, implementing appropriate sanitation and cleanliness measures for different situations.
  6. Loading and Unloading: Understanding the principles of loading and unloading food products, familiarizing with the loading and unloading requirements for different types of food products, implementing appropriate loading and unloading procedures for different situations.
  7. Employee Training and Communication: Developing employee training programs for food safety during transportation, understanding the importance of effective communication and coordination in maintaining food safety, coordinating with relevant parties such as emergency services and other organizations.
  8. Case Studies and Real-world examples: Understanding the application of food safety during transportation techniques in different settings, analyzing case studies of successful and unsuccessful food safety during transportation, identifying best practices and lessons learned from real-world examples.

Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting, online. Meeting invites will be shared on the day before the first day of training.
