Local Legal Compliance Requirements course equips learners with the necessary information on how to observe local legal compliance in workplace safety. Participants analyze key legal structures, statutory compliance, and particular industries’ standards that govern safety and compliance issues. The covers occupational health and safety, environmental legislation, employees’ rights, employers’ duties or responsibilities, and legal sanctions. Greater attention is paid to the risk factors, remediation, consequences of non-compliance, and other documentation the organization is required to keep. This program is meant for managers, compliance officers, and safety practitioners, and focuses on the achievement of thorough understanding of legal provisions, implementation and maintenance of compliance and best practices. At the conclusion of this course, learners will be able to manage, protect, and sustain the safety of workplace activities, keep the organization out of litigation, and promote legal compliance culture within the organization.

After completing this course, participants will be able to recognize, interpret, and apply local legal stipulations affecting workplace health, safety, and environmental obligations for the purposes of organizational compliance and protection from risks.

Recognizing Specific Legal Obligations

Managing Compliance Related Activities and Business Functions

  • Acquire skills in creating internal compliance mechanisms within the local legal context.
  • Get training on compliance control, monitoring, auditing, and reporting within the organization.

Legal Compliance Training and Staff Awareness Programs

  • Teach why staff need to be educated on legal obligations, rights, and responsibilities.
  • Develop steps for fostering compliance through training and communications.

Responding to Legal Violations and Inspections

  • Study how to deal with government inspections, audits, and enforcement actions appropriately.
  • Identify the risks associated with non-compliance and how to implement corrective measures in an effective manner.

Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting, online. Meeting invites will be shared on the day before the first day of training.
