Health and Safety for Emerging Workers class is designed for newcomers and young employees to train them on basic health and safety risks at the workplace. Participants will learn basic occupational risk factors, safe working procedures, and roles and responsibilities on health and safety matters. Other areas of concern include hazard recognition, personal protective equipment (PPE), safety procedures, office ergonomics, and reporting of safety issues. This approach aims to foster proactive safety behavior, comprehension of employer responsibilities, and safety culture enhancement from the outset of a person's career.
