Fundamentals of Construction Safety course outlines the fundamental concepts of construction workplace safety, hazard recognition, and risk management processes. Participants will familiarize themselves with the mitigation steps for the common construction risks, which include falls, being struck-by, electrocution, and caught-in-between incidents. The course also focuses on the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), tool and machinery safety, fire hazards, scaffolding, and design safety and emergency planning safety measures and responses. Of particular importance is the compliance to safety regulation by OSHA, ISO 45001, and other relevant construction safety standards. The course targets construction workers, site supervisors, safety officers, and project managers to enable them to proactively foster a safe working atmosphere, preemptively reduce accidents, and encourage a strong safety culture on-site. As a result, participants will be able to implement construction safety measures relevant to compliance and ensure the holistic enhancement of safety in the workplace.

Basics of Construction Safety Equipment

Personal Protective Equipment or PPE for Construction Workers

Construction Site Emergency Response and First Aid

  • Apply basic first aid procedures like administering CPR and addressing common construction injuries such as cuts, sprains, and fractures.

Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting, online. Meeting invites will be shared on the day before the first day of training.
