Fall Protection and Safe Operations course is designed to educate participates on the falls occurring in hazardous work environments, their prevention measures, and the usage of protection systems. Since falls are one of the primary causes of injuries and even death in a workplace, supervisors and workers need to understand and develop methodologies for fall prevention. Topics like hazard identification, risk assessment of falls, and selection, inspection, and use of various protective equipment such as harnesses, lanyards, guardrails, and safety nets are some of the few things taught in this course. Understanding anchorage requirements, fall arrest systems, and meeting the OSHA, ANSI, and other industry compliance regulations are also important for students. Considerable attention is given to effective work practices for work performed at height, proper equipment, and routine maintenance procedures. This course can be useful for construction workers, maintenance contractors, and occupational safety specialists. In this course, teaches develop a theoretical and practical understanding of regulations that are aimed at enhancing safety and compliance policies for mitigating risks associated with falls and other dangerous situations at the workplace.

After taking this course, learners will be able to implement operational and engineering fall protection systems and conduct safe work practices in areas where falls can occur.
