Dangerous Goods Transportation course equips learners with knowledge and skills that relate to danger goods and the environmental compliance targets. Dangerous goods include, but are not limited to; flammable liquids, toxic substances, explosives, and even corrosive chemicals require international and national regulations like ADR, IATA-DGR, IMDG Code, and DOT to move safely. This course comprehends the technique of classifying, packing, boxing, and labeling, as well as the domestic roles of the shipper, carrier, and receiver. Provisions are also made for learners hoping to internalize the basic level standard operating procedures that help in avoiding spills, leaks during transit and vehicular placarding, and even emergency responding that aids in risking mitigation. In practical case studies and actual examples, learners are taught about the importance of compliance, planning, and even the risk factors for the transport of very sensitive materials; so that learners get the essence of the concepts being taught. This training aims to target the logistically bound staff, warehouse employees and their supervisors, and even transporters, so that participants understand the proper transportation of hazardous materials and the legal requirements accompanying them.

At the end of this course, students will be able to identify and apply regulatory practices for safe international transportation of dangerous goods to mitigate the risks of accidents and environmental harm.
