Confined Space Safety course allows participants to acquire competencies and knowledge required for safe work practices in confined spaces while minimizing risks and meeting all safety regulations. Oxygen deficiency, toxic gas buildup, engulfment, and restricted access are some of the dangers posed by confined spaces like tanks, silos, tunnels, and sewers. This course offers in-depth training on hazard identification, risk assessments, and control measures necessary to avert injuries and fatalities. Instruction will include, but not be limited to, emergency PPE and RPE, hearing protection, work permits, ventilation tests, emergency action plans, and atmosphere testing. Participants are taught applicable statutes, OSHA, HSE, NFPA, so that workers and supervisors understand their obligations. Participants learn from incidents and portray safe and unsafe procedures, proper exit and entry protocols, rescue methods, and emphasize the need for instruction and oversight. Safety officers, supervisors, and workers responsible for confined space activities should attend this training in order to assume a proactive role in controlling hazards to improve operational and safety efficiency.

After completing this course, participants will possess the knowledge and practical competencies to enable safe work practices in and around confined spaces, in full compliance with safety standards, risk mitigation, and protection of workers associated with confined space hazards.
